Weixing Shen

Weixing Shen is Professor and Dean of School of Law of Tsinghua University. He is also appointed as director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Law of Tsinghua University. In 2014, he awarded with the "National Outstanding Young Jurist". Besides, he serves as Executive Council Member of China Civil Law Society, Vice President of China Cyber and Information Law Society, etc. The research fields of Professor SHEN include civil law, computational law, and health law. He has published 18 books and over 60 papers on significant legal journals. Professor SHEN also hosts the National Key R&D Program “Research on Intelligent Assistive Technology in the Context of Judicial Process Involving Concerned Civil and Commercial Cases” and the Major Project of National Social Science Foundation “Research on the Legal-based Governance of Internet Economy”. In recent years, he has advocated and devoted himself into interdisciplinary research on computational law, which promotes the mutual empowerment of the information technology and legal work.
